A Way Out

We often make the mistake of closing a door behind ourselves and then believing that we are trapped. We walked into the room, we took the action, but we forget about our own volition and power the moment things go wrong. We get scared, and that is perfectly normal, but we need to learn how to respond better. A deer in the headlights gets everyone hurt. We need to learn how to respond with at least a modicum of thought and consideration. If you walked into a situation, you can usually turn around and walk out.
