The Spirit Of A Beginner

Shoshin is the Zen concept of "Beginner's Mind," and refers to having an attitude of openness, eagerness, and lack of preconceptions when studying a subject, even when studying at an advanced level, just as a beginner in that subject would. It is a way to always be ready to learn, and to always be learning. We are always beginning and, if we acknowledge that, we can go further.
