Happy New Year!

So apparently Facebook does a nagging thing now. Who knew? "You haven't had a new post in a while ..." A week, Facebook. It's been a week. I don't think anyone is going through withdrawals. LOL (Oddly enough, when I tried to do this as a Facebook post, it wouldn't let me. Blog post workaround, here we come.)

Anyway, it's the last Friday of 2016, so I suppose that does warrant saying something. Out with the old, in with the new? We already know I don't do resolutions, so that's off the table. I have the goal every day of trying to be a little bit better than the day before. I think that's enough resolution for anyone, and far less stressful than some grand, annual pipe dream. When was the last time you heard of anyone keeping a New Year's resolution past January anyway?

Be better every day than the person you were the day before. If you can keep it, you'll never need another resolution, and you'll have accomplished more than all of your previous resolutions combined. How's that for a New Year, New You plan?

Speaking of plans, anyone have any? I think the puppy and I will be hiding in his kennel, trying to keep away from the fireworks. Probably won't work out, but maybe we'll keep each other company. I would say a quiet evening at home, but I think you'd have to live in isolation to get quiet on New Year's Eve. What are your plans? Shout out in the comments and let us know.

Happy New Year, and keep moving forward everyone. Namaste. Siochan leat.

'Tis The Season

It's that time of year again, and where has the year gone? It's been a rather crowded one, and there have been many comments going around about how many people will be glad to see this one in the rearview mirror, but I hope you've had some good, even not an entirely good year. I think it's safe to say, as with most things, there has been both good and bad, but let's focus on the good and make it better. Whether good or bad, we can springboard into 2017 ready to make it a great one.

We'll be taking the next two weeks off here at the website, focusing on the family and the holidays. I fully realize that doesn't mean much, since the website hasn't exactly been overflowing with new original content, and I do thank you for your patience and understanding. As I told someone recently, I've been up to my eyeballs with day job stuff, and, while I don't yet see an end in sight, it really is all for the good, and I do know the current excesses will taper off sooner rather than later. I can't go into the details yet, but I'm quite pleased and excited for new things on the way, and I will fill you in as soon as I am able. Bear with me and stay tuned.

I will be keeping Facebook posts going over the next couple weeks, so I will not be leaving you entirely to the Holiday Season. Keep an eye over there to see inspirational pictures, uplifting messages, and even some reposts of previous Holiday articles. As always, we look forward to hearing about your holidays as well, so do please drop us a line.

From our home to yours, may this Holiday Season be full of magic, light, and love, and may you look forward to a new year full of glorious possibility. Namaste and Merry Christmas!

Learn How To See

They say that seeing is believing, but seeing is not necessarily the truth, unless one first learns how to see.

Some Of The Greatest Battles

Love As Long As You Live

On November 30, 1971, a future writer came into the world a bit early, and has been getting up to mischief ever since. One of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite writers seems to be an appropriate way of celebrating my own birthday. There was a time when I did not believe I would see 45. Look at me now. Still living, still loving, and still up to mischief, with no end in sight. Thanks for taking this part of the journey with me.
