A Basic Introduction

This is from the About section of the Facebook page, just so you have some idea of what's coming.


I have issues, but I deal with them. Most days, I deal with them rather well. We all have bad days though.

I've lived with depression and anxiety for most of my life, officially diagnosed for more than 20 years, and I've learned a few things. One of the things I've learned is that talking can help. Another thing I've learned is that helping can help. So I'm going to talk about a few things, and hopefully that helps someone else, maybe even someone who didn't know to ask.

We won't just talk about mental health issues, though. It's good to talk about those things, but focusing on them exclusively can be less than helpful. Instead, we will talk about a variety of subjects focused on improving the human condition. That's a pretty wide range, and I plan to make full use of the freedom that entails.
